How has your first week of the New Year been?
Have you been able to add anything positive to your energy bank? An apple a day, a new veggie to your family meal or just an earlier bed time?
I actually made the point to go for a healing after church this past week. It was wonderful!! The peace increased, and I feel more balance. That was my big addition to my energy bank this past week. The great thing is it reaches all levels of your being, physically, mentally emotionally and spiritually. Try it, it works.
Walking is a wonderful. We can do it for fitness, we can do it for meditation, we can do it for our mental health, whatever our intention we cannot go wrong. We just have to make the effort to move. Live in an apartment and do not want to walk in the snow and ice? Walk in your hallways. Stuck at home? Feeling the effects of a cold winter? Get out to a mall for a walk, free of ice and snow. Find a community centre near your home and walk the track free. Find a Friend who wants to go as well and make it a regular commitment. Experts say when you have a friend join you, it helps you keep your fitness commitment and you are more likely to achieve your goal.

If you have not walked in a while, start slow and build your way up to the recommended length of time.
Add a little movement to your day, feel your energy increase and your happiness increase.
