A big thank you to our long time member and healer Paul Pavao for creating and leading our Spirit Scribble Night.  On Saturday evening 12 of us joined together for the sole purpose of allowing ourselves the luxury of letting go and being a kid again.

 –
We began with a short meditation to connect with our creative energies and then with pencils in our non dominant hand, we scribbled. Our little church was filled with so much laughter and awe as we allowed spirit  to guide us as we let loose and scribbled.
  –
Some of us were unsure if our very child like scribbles contained anything significant but as Paul and several others within the group (Fred, Wendie and Addariah) observed our work, delight took over as we began to see through other’s eyes. Faces and animals, symbols and messages within our lines,  that we the creators, had over looked. What a powerful metaphor for life on several levels.
  –
You can never go wrong when you join together in friendship with open minds and hearts and try something new.
  –
I know Paul would encourage you to try this at home, it is a very freeing form of self-healing. If you are curious or have something on your mind or heart  you need to work out.

• Centre you self
• Connect with your creative source within and rest in that energy for a little while and then with a pencil in your non dominant hand scribble till your heart’s content. You can use as many sheets of paper as necessary.
• Then step back, observe your work, look for image or feeling.
   –
I bet if you wanted your scribble read, you could bring it to church sometime and Paul would read it for you  🙂
   –
Thank you to all who made it out, it was a great night.
   –
Thinking about scribbling again soon
